Rotterdam, 12 October 2020 - Ronald Hoeksel has been appointed as from 1 January 2021 as Chairman of the Board of Baker Tilly in the Netherlands. The present chairman of the board, Marcel Huisman, introduced the new chairman of the board with great pleasure: “I view Ronald Hoeksel as a very suitable successor and, full of confidence, I will transfer the gavel to him at the end of this year.”
Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of Baker Tilly, Joke van Lonkhuijzen-Hoekstra, about the appointment of the new chairman of the board: “As a partner and very experienced accountant, Ronald has made an active contribution to reassessment of the strategy as part of our change programme. Such knowledge, experience and involvement are of great value in his role as Chairman of the Board”.
Ronald Hoeksel: “It is an honour for me to join the Board from 1 January 2021 and to build further on the ambitions of a stronger Baker Tilly”. Ronald Hoeksel changed over from KPMG to Baker Tilly 13 years ago. Besides his work as audit partner, he was chairman of the firm of the Zwolle branch. Ronald is also very active in the Zwolle region as a Board Member of the Zwolle Recycling Organisation (Stichting Kringloop Zwolle) and the Noggus en Noggus Foundation (recycling) and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the JOW! Foundation (Stichting JOW!) (links young and elderly people for activities).
As from 1 January 2021, the new Board of Baker Tilly will be composed of: Ronald Hoeksel (Chairman), Ronald Houtveen, Erik Moens and Marco Hoeks.
